Runaway & Homeless Minor Youth Program

Ages 12-17

In a quiet Craftsman home in Hollywood, youth who have fled to the streets find more than refuge. They find hope. Because from the moment they ring our doorbell, our multidisciplinary support team stands ready to provide everything they need to regain the safety and stability of home. Everything. From housing in a home-like setting to educational assistance and trauma-informed care, with a heavy emphasis on family reunification when safe and viable.

This program lasts 90 days with the possibility of an extension. Youth may self-refer or enter this program through the Youth Coordinated Entry System, unless they have an open case with the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS).

Program Goals & Objectives

This program seeks to provide emergency housing, resources and crisis stabilization for minor runaway and homeless youth. Upon intake, our Program Team works with each new resident to establish their self-directed Individualized Service Plan, always considering their unique strengths, needs and abilities. Our Support Services staff also work with each youth on case management, education plans, career development and life skills to promote future self-sufficiency.
